    A modern overhaul of Combine technology designed with non-intrusiveness and responsiveness in mind. It was originally meant to replace E.V.O. and other 'overlay' plugins, without being intrusive or promote metagaming. It does have many interesting features of its own, too.

     

    WAIT! Before reading further, please check out the Imgur Album with detailed descriptions of many overlay features. It's slightly outdated, so some small features aren't in the album (including the top-right information).

     


     

     

    Features:

    • Complex MPF/OTA overlay with a non-intrusive design.
    • Non-urgent text on the overlay will collapse down to "..." until you look at the node.
    • Unit biosignals will only show the unit's digits until you look at the node.
    • Units with no biosignals will not receive top-left text, dispatch voices, or other units' death sounds.
    • Units with no biosignals will not transmit any of the above either - if a unit already has no biosignal and they are injured or die, other units would have no way of knowing unless they are next to them.
    • Combine cameras which can be angered by people – incorporated into the HUD.
    • Second combine display text at the top-right for displaying the current sociostatus and important information.
    • Lines of the Combine objectives (/viewobjectives) beginning with ^ will appear in the top-right display.
    • Default sounds only, no extra content.
    • CID tag system so units can see citizens' CID's (written on their jumpsuits) within close range. Admins can disable individual characters' tags.
    • Camera terminals to beautifully look through combine cameras.

    Commands:

    (High Command only)

    • /SetSocioStatus  for High Command to change the current sociostability status displayed on the HUD.
    • /CameraDisable for High Command to disable a combine camera. Camera ID's are shown on the HUD.
    • /CameraEnable for High Command to enable a combine camera.

    (MPF/OTA only)

    • /SetBiosignalStatus  for disabling and enabling your biosignal while you are alive for various IC reasons.

    (Operator+ only)

    • /CharSetBiosignalStatus same as above, but for admins to modify other units' biosignals.
    • /CharSetHasTags for admins to remove certain citizens' CID tags (ex. if they have no jumpsuit or tore it off).

    (Admin+ only)

    • /CameraTerminalAdd adds a camera terminal at your target position.

    (Other)

    • /Request modified to send location data where requests are sent to units with biosignals. Other plugins that modify /Request will most likely break this.

     


     

     

    Incompatible plugins:

    • Enhanced Visual Overlay (E.V.O) - I'm sure having two overlay plugins would cause problems.
    • Overwatch Death Digits - Don't fret, C.T.O. has the same functionality as this plugin.

     

     

    Configuration:

    • cto_biosignal_unobstruct (default true)
    • cto_biosignal_distance (default no limit)
    • cto_expire_biosignals (default 120 seconds)
    • cto_expire_requests (default 60 seconds)
    • cto_use_tag_system (default true)
    • cto_citizen_distance (default 2048 units)

    It also breaks Arbiter's camera plugin. :/ Other than that good work!

    Claude – that's most likely because of the camera features in this plugin. I might add a feature to look through cameras in the future.

    Now the sociostatus thing doesn't work entirely even with objectives. I dont get any errors but it doesnt update as well
